When I was a freshman in high school I begged my mom to let me put blonde highlights in my hair. She agreed, and I went to the hair stylist and got four chunky highlights in my hair. My natural color is a dark brown, so I looked pretty terrible with the large blonde streaks in my hair. I'm grateful that I don't have any photos from this time in my life.
After several years of highlights, I felt like the blonde was taking over. I could no longer remember what my natural hair color looked like. I decided to do something about it and dye my hair back to a darker brown. It took me a bit to work up the courage to do so, but I finally did it! I am very happy with my decision.
#39. Make an iTunes playlist of my 101 favorite songs.
I have heard a lot of music over the past 26 years. Choosing my favorite 101 songs was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. Although I listen almost exclusively to country music, I enjoy listening to a variety of genres. After about a month or two, I was finally able to choose my 101 favorite songs. Here they are, in alphabetical order:
Several of the rap and hip-hop songs are from my good ol' days at NAU. There are also a few throwback songs - how could I not include a Backstreet Boys song?
Hint: There's an N'Sync song in this playlist.
My friends played "Shake That" so much that I have a good amount of Eminem's rap memorized.
Does anyone even know who the Los Lonely Boys are anymore? I only know "Crazy Dreams" and it's a pretty great song.
Don't judge my choice to add "I Believe I Can Fly." I loved Space Jam as a kid.
